Can the colors be used in lip oils or will it sink?
½ to 1 teaspoon of mica powder per ounce of lip gloss base, or per ounce of oils in your homemade recipe. For a single gloss, start with 1/8 teaspoon of mica powder per lip balm or lip gloss for sheer color, up to ½ teaspoon for more opaque color.
How do you mix colors when making soy candles?
Heat the palm wax to a liquid state and then mix the desired color of mica powder, stir and cool down; if you want to make soy candles with layered colors, you need to complete a layer and cool it, then add another layer.
